From empowering disability networks across three continents to celebrating 50 rising female sustainability leaders, Bupa is championing the people and perspectives driving a more inclusive future.

Through its partnerships with PurpleSpace and Women of the Future, Bupa has supported two global initiatives this October, helping break down barriers, amplify diverse voices and turn ambition into meaningful action.
Empowering disability networks to drive global change
As a PurpleSpace Futurist Member, Bupa sponsored three Global Disability Employee Resource Group (ERG) Summits, connecting disability network leaders, allies and advocates across London, Mexico and Melbourne to champion employee-led change and more inclusive workplaces.
With support from senior leaders including Penny Dudley, Chief People and Legal Officer, Bupa Group, Israel Ranero, Director General, Bupa Mexico, and Bec Donaldson, Chief People Officer, Bupa APAC, the summits reinforced the importance of putting lived experience at the heart of organisational decision-making.
At Bupa, this approach is already making a difference. Feedback from a colleague with hearing loss in Bupa Dental inspired deaf awareness training for 150 frontline colleagues, helping improve accessibility for employees and patients alike.
Celebrating the next generation of female changemakers
As headline sponsor of the Women of the Future 50 Rising Stars in ESG programme, Bupa celebrated 50 outstanding female leaders from 26 countries who are driving positive environmental, social and governance impact.
Now in its fifth year, the programme brought this year's Rising Stars together at the Financial Times headquarters in London, recognising the next generation of women shaping a more sustainable future.
Mar Soro, Head of Sustainability Advocacy and Partnerships at Bupa, joined the programme's global judging panel and addressed guests at the ceremony, commenting "Creating a healthier, more sustainable future requires fresh thinking, diverse perspectives and the courage to challenge the status quo.
"These remarkable women aren't just imagining a better future – they're actively shaping it. We're proud to celebrate their achievements, amplify their voices and inspire the next generation of female leaders to make a lasting difference."
Creating a more inclusive future for all
Both partnerships build on Bupa's Be You at Bupa commitment, recognising that meaningful inclusion starts with listening to different experiences and empowering people to drive change.
By championing disability networks and emerging female leaders, Bupa is collaborating across sectors to create healthier, more inclusive workplaces and communities around the world.
