Supporting communities

How we’re contributing to our communities

We contribute to the communities where we work by engaging with local and community partners.

We do this through our charitable foundations and through our people, who volunteer their time and skills.

Bupa Foundation, Australia and New Zealand

Since 2005, the Bupa Foundation has invested over AUD $40m across 175+ organisations working to protect the health of communities.

Through partnerships and programs, the Foundation is building mentally healthy and resilient communities and addressing the vital connection between the health of our planet and its people.

Sanitas Foundation, Spain

The Sanitas Foundation focuses on health promotion and social transformation. It supports research, medical teaching and integrating people with disabilities.

The Foundation is committed to social change and equality by making the health benefits of sport accessible to everyone in society.

Its flagship project is Inclusive Sports, which promotes the practice of sports between people with and without disabilities.

Bupa Foundation, BGUK

The Bupa UK Foundation supports community projects, the majority of which focus on improving people’s mental health and resilience.

The Foundation’s activities include running wellbeing workshops for teachers and helping young people prepare for employment.
