Bupa’s largest UK contact centre at Bupa Place served 4.6 million customers in 2025, helping with queries around Sales and Service, with contact centre professionals handling over 300,000 more contacts than the previous year.
The reveal marks National Contact Centre Day, an industry wide recognition of the complex work of contact centre professionals and the value they provide to their organisations.
Kirk Bradley, Operations Director at Bupa, attributed the effectiveness of Bupa Place to the hard work and excellence of Bupa colleagues, saying: “Our contact centre colleagues provide an industry leading service.
“National Contact Centre Day is designed to show that working in a contact centre is a career, not a stop gap, and I’m so pleased that a light is being shone on the skilled, innovative work happening daily.
“Our people are at the heart of our business and make a difference to our customers’ lives every day. From helping people get quick access to services they need, to making healthcare journeys more frictionless at what can often be a stressful time.”
Bupa Place in Salford has around 1,200 advisers, who last year served 4.6 million customers and received 67,500 hours of training; an average of more than 56 hours per adviser.
