Bupa Health Services is pleased to announce the acquisition of The Dermatology Partnership, seven specialist dermatology clinics located across the UK.
The Dermatology Partnership clinics are based in London’s Harley Street, Wimbledon, Oxford, Canterbury, Cheltenham, Cheadle and Shrewsbury.
Dermatology services have some of the longest waiting times in the UK. This acquisition enables Bupa’s UK Insurance customers to have faster access to the dermatology care they need, alleviating pressure on services and swifter peace of mind.
Sarah Melia, General Manager for Bupa Health Services said: “We’re delighted to acquire The Dermatology Partnership and expand our specialist services into dermatology. This new partnership will enable us to create a seamless pathway for customers to have their concerns addressed.
“Our long-term strategy is to provide more Bupa services directly to customers, which is further cemented with the acquisition of The Dermatology Partnership. We’re looking forward to welcoming the team to Bupa Health Services.”
Mark Norfolk, CEO of The Dermatology Partnership said: “We’re very pleased to join Bupa Health Services. Bupa hold the same values as The Dermatology Partnership and I know working together will help us attract new customers and experts into our clinics. It will also help us to reach our ambition of becoming the leading provider of dermatology in the UK and expand and grow the business.
“Our customers will see no change to the service they receive at The Dermatology Partnership and all appointments will be going ahead as scheduled.”
The acquisition of The Dermatology Partnership follows Bupa Health Services’ successful acquisitions of London Medical and Blackberry Clinics. As part of the acquisition, Bupa have assured customers that they can expect to receive the same high-quality care they are used to at The Dermatology Partnership.
