Saturday, 10 October is World Mental Health Day.
We’re living through strange times. COVID-19 continues to impact many of our lives in one way or another and one thing that’s come to the fore front is the importance of good mental health to help build resilience in the face of uncertainty and change. It’s well reported that every year one in four of us experiences a mental health challenge. Right now with ‘normal’ being different for all of us, talking about mental health is more crucial than ever.
Whether it’s the effects of lockdown and isolation, being on the frontline during the pandemic, working from home indefinitely, schooling at home, supporting friends, family and colleagues, many people are dealing with challenges they had never imagined at the start of the year.
To mark World Mental Health Day this year, we asked colleagues across Bupa ‘what’s your normal?’.
