The 2019 list was compiled by the Women's Business Council, Management Today and Sky.

David was nominated by colleagues for supporting initiatives at Bupa UK that prepare emerging female talent for leadership roles and for championing an inclusive, positive and open working culture.

Joan Elliott, General Manager of Bupa UK Care Services, said: "David is extremely committed to supporting women at all levels. I wouldn’t have had the confidence to put myself forward [for this role] without his backing."

David Hynam, CEO of Bupa UK, said: “It’s an honour to be included on the list for a second consecutive year alongside champions of change.

“I’m proud that women count for over two-thirds of Bupa’s UK workforce and around half of my executive team.

“It’s vital that our leadership programmes support women to excel in their careers, ensuring that we have strong female representation at all levels, and that we can attract and retain the best talent.”
