The latest acquisitions follow another 23 that completed in 2018, as more practice owners and dental professionals realise the many benefits of joining Bupa Dental Care.

Joining the Bupa Dental Care family is MCM Dental Services in Wakefield, Courtlands Dental practice in Gloucester, Metamorphosis Orthodontics in Parsons Green, Raynesway Dental practice in Derby, Stanage Dental practice in Thornton-Cleveleys, Smiles Better in Abergavenny, Fountain Street Dental practice in Ulverston, Highworth Dental Care in Highworth, and Sandymount Dental practice in Dublin, which has merged with the Smiles Dental practice, Waterloo Road in Dublin.

In May, Bupa Dental Care also acquired a group of Total Dental Care practices, including Total Dental Care Implant Centres, in London’s Harley Street, Peterborough, Folkestone and Dover, showcasing the business’ desire to have a diverse range of expertise and specialisms in its practice portfolio.

Speaking of the news Ruth Chesmore, Mergers and Acquisitions Director for Bupa Dental Care, said: “We’re excited to welcome these practices, their colleagues, and patients into the Bupa Dental Care family.

“It’s important to note that these aren’t acquisitions for acquisition’s sake. It’s our vision to be the most trusted provider of dental care in the UK and Ireland, and all new partners must demonstrate that same desire for clinical excellence and putting the patient at the heart of everything we do.

"These new practices have built a strong reputation in their local communities and we’re delighted to have them on board.”
