Brits too embarrassed to talk to their doctor about certain cancer symptoms

A new Bupa UK survey reveals that the embarrassment over certain cancer symptoms such as changes in bladder or bowel habits makes Brits delay cancer tests up to 10 weeks.

Julia Ross, head of cancer care at Bupa UK, said: "Early diagnosis and treatment of a cancer can reduce the need for more complex and invasive treatments, and we believe it is key to improving survival rates."
