Bupa has come a long way from our origins as a UK health funding organisation in 1947. We’ve become an international healthcare company, providing health insurance, treatment in clinics, dental centres and hospitals, and running care homes where residents truly feel at home.
Today, our 84,000 people serve around 17.9 million health insurance customers around the world, as well as millions more people in our clinics, hospitals, dental centres and aged care homes.
Our key locations are the UK, Australia, Spain, Chile, Poland, New Zealand, Hong Kong SAR, Turkey, Brazil, Mexico, the US, Middle East and Ireland. We also have associate businesses in Saudi Arabia and India.
Clinical expertise is at the heart of Bupa
Our clinical expertise means we can guide our customers to make informed decisions about the care that’s right for them. As a leader in many of our markets, we play a role in some of today’s critical health challenges. We help individuals and families to stay well, and work with companies to improve and safeguard their employees’ health.
It’s about being there for our customers whenever they need us, harnessing digitalisation, data and analytics, and developing products and services that are exceptional and suited to their needs. It’s about keeping data safe and protecting their privacy. And it’s about looking ahead, innovating and exceeding our customers’ expectations – today and for years to come.
A great place to work
We rely on the skills, energy and commitment of our people to do a great job for our customers and each other. We know that a healthy business needs a healthy and inclusive culture. We listen, learn and act on feedback from our teams, and empower them to ensure that Bupa is a great place to work.
