Residents of Bupa's Collingwood Grange Care Centre are getting ready for their summer fate on Saturday, 20 June to reveal their £600,000 new look home, unveiled by the Mayor of Surrey Heath, Craig Fennell.
Part of the festivities includes live entertainment, marquee, stalls, raffles, lawn games strawberry tea and refreshments.
Collingwood Grange is a stunning and tranquil residential home originally built in the 1900s that has been tastefully converted and extended. Residents will now enjoy complete refurbishment in all 75 bedrooms alongside the rest of the house. Newly introduced sensory room for dementia patients and a family room, flatscreen TVs also adds to the splendid refurbishment.
The refurbishment is part of Bupa's £40 million investment drive to improve standards of care for older people within the UK - a large percentage of this being spent on improving services for people with dementia.
