We have reorganised the way we run our businesses to ensure we are more customer focused.

We announced a new organisational structure in September 2012 to position ourselves for growth.  We need our business to be as customer-centric as possible, and we believe these changes will help us to respond to customers’ needs in a more integrated and joined-up way.

The new structure is designed to give leaders more freedom and clearer accountability in their local markets allowing them to drive best practice, standardisation and customisation, as appropriate.

From October 2012, our formerly three divisions (Care Services, International Markets and Europe and North America) are replaced by five market units - Australia and New Zealand, the UK, Spain and Latin America, International Development Markets and International Private Medical Insurance.

 

Our Market Unit Managing Directors are:

  • Australia and New Zealand led by Dean Holden
  • International PMI led by Robert Lang
  • International Development Markets led by Alison Platt
  • Spain and Latin America led by Iñaki Ereño
  • The UK led by Richard Bowden.

 Our Executive Team members are:

  • Chief Executive – Stuart Fletcher
  • Market Unit Managing Directors, as above
  • Chief Financial Officer – Evelyn Bourke
  • Chief People Officer – Denise Collis
  • Chief Information Officer – Yasmin Jetha
  • Corporate Affairs Director – Steve John
  • Chief Medical Officer – Paul Zollinger-Read
  • Chief Strategy and Marketing Director - to be appointed

By structuring ourselves by markets, we have the best opportunity to view our services from the perspective of our customers and respond accordingly. We also want to create deeper interdependence between our businesses and our corporate centre, and at the same time markets will be well placed to develop new sources of growth based on market insight and demand.
