Peter Cawdron was appointed a Non-Executive Director in May 2007.
A chartered accountant, he is Bupa's Senior Independent Director, chairs Bupa's Remuneration Committee and is a member of Bupa's Audit Committee.
Peter is a former Chairman of Punch Taverns, Strategy Director at Grand Metropolitan, and a former Non-Executive Director of Compass Group, Capita Group, ProStrakan Group and ARM (Holdings).
