Salary and benefits

Back to Graduate opportunities

We expect great things of our graduates. So we like to give them great things in return.

First off, there's the salary, which is highly competitive:

  • £25,000 (plus £1,000 joining bonus)
  • Finance graduates will also receive salary increases as they progress through their qualification up to a salary of £28,000.

Then there's the holiday:

  • 25 days' annual leave a year

Plus some other excellent benefits you'll get as part of your package:

  • Pension
  • Bonus. As part of the Bupa Participation Scheme, you can earn bonuses worth up to two weeks' salary.
  • Life Assurance at 4 x pensionable salary
  • Health insurance and assessment
  • Access to 24-hour medical advice and counselling services

Another great benefit of working at Bupa is the opportunity you'll have to get involved in all kinds of activities outside your day-to-day work. This will range from volunteering projects to networking events:

  • Graduate Challenge
The Graduate Challenge is now a regular fixture on the Bupa calendar, and a great way for you to contribute to Bupa's sustainability agenda. Previous graduate groups have raised thousands for worthwhile causes. The 2010 challenge has seen the group working with the Alzheimer's Society, fundraising and building awareness across the business of our relationship with the charity. The graduates will also be supporting the charity at the Bupa Great North and Great South Runs.
  • Community Connections
Through Community Connections, an initiative run by our Sustainability team, you'll have the chance to take part in various charity events and volunteering projects. This could be anything from teaching children about healthy eating in a local primary school to taking donations for Comic Relief at one of our call centres. In 2009, 120 Bupa volunteers, from all across the globe, worked together to build a health centre for a rural community in Ecuador.
